After four days of kiting, save scumming and cherry tapping, Inference finally went down in a blaze of glorious Valcazard-pounding and I can bid the Ardygun family farewell for a while. I’m told the New Game Plus is worth it, but I think I’ll come back when I’ve learned at least some kanji.

I have to say, aside from a few questionable balancing decisions towards the end, this has been a very pleasant experience for someone whose grasp of Japanese needs a kana table and a dictionary just to navigate the interface.

In other news, SRW K greeted me with the revelation that it, too, contains the Warcraft-ripoff track. How people noticed the Chrono Trigger track but not this is beyond my comprehension. Recording of the new arrangement forthcoming (I kinda liked W’s version better, but a lot of K’s arrangements are questionable like that).

Anonymous said: how can you call yourself a feminist but then drool over a boy?

babe i can fight the patriarchy and ride a dick those things are not mutually exclusive

I think a lot of people don’t understand what feminism is and that’s the root of many problems. They may even be decent people. Somewhere deep inside. Maybe. If they learned to Google.

Quick doodles before I’m off to bed. Quality is kind of bad, tablet isn’t cooperating today for some reason.

I can’t be the only one who notices Persona 3 and Evangelion have the exact same base plot.

Giant alien crashes into earth (Lilith/Nyx), becomes the moon, gives birth to mankind, stays dormant until resurrected by evil organization (Nerv/Kirijo). It’s then split into pieces (Angels/Full moon shadows), which tries to merge together but can be fought with weapons fueled by psychological trauma but is essentially the same thing which can go berserk(Evas/Angels and Personas/Shadows). However a glasses wearing man (Gendo/Ikutsuki) is actively trying to bring about the end of the world by fulfilling an ancient prophecy to fusing everybody back with Lilith/Nyx (Instrumentality/ The Fall); but ends up getting betrayed by their Disposable Non-Human Emotionless Girl (Rei/Aigis). Meanwhile the last piece of the maternal Lilith/Nyx is a bishounen voiced by Akira Ishida who doesn’t want the world to end(Kaworu/Ryoji) and asks the vaguely feminine emo music-player attached protagonist (Shinji/Minato) to kill him. In the end, the protagonist becomes god-tier.

Except Evangelion has Freudian psychology and Persona 3 has Jungian psychology, so their endings are polar opposites.

Also, Jesus.

And that, childrens, is why I refuse to watch Evangelion ever again.

Imagine Person A waking up from a terrible nightmare, completely terrified and shaking. Person B assures them it was only a dream before pulling A into their arms, lulling them to sleep. Moments later, A’s alarm clock goes off, waking them up. That’s when A remembers: Person B died years ago.

Mental Health Awareness Week from October 5-11

Even mermaids can have a mental illness, for a mermaid has no tears and therefore suffers so much more.

I’m that one person out of every five who has an invisible illness. I’m a suicide survivor. These are two reasons why I chose to per-sue Counseling Psychology in college. It’s also why I wanted to become a mermaid; not just to make myself happy, but to make others happy as well. Help raise awareness for mental illness by sharing this post.

Know that you are not alone.
